Pierre Vandelac, owner of Vandelac-Services,
is a trilingual translator - English, French, and Spanish.
Pierre studied in Geneva, Switzerland, and in France where
he receives a Languages B.A. (French, English, Spanish). He
has studied in an international ambiance and his specialties
lie in International Trade and Relations and Localization,
mainly within Latin America, Europe and Canada; he also has
a strong interest in environmental matters and accounting.
Pierre has been a translator for over twenty years
A hispanophile, he also translates from Catalan to French
and English. The core of his translations are from English

Payment must be on delivery (30 days after delivery can
be arranged for large on-going projects).

We are interested in trilingual translations jobs, that
is to say: jobs where all three languages are featured, i.e.
from one of the above languages to the other two.
- The word count is always in the source language
- The text analysis is made with Trados
- The rates are quoted in US currency, and are as follows:
- For "No match" : 20 ¢ per source word
(or 9 ¢ per target word).
- For "100% repetitions" : 8 ¢ (4 ¢
per word/target language).
- For "70% fuzzy match" : 16 ¢ (8 ¢
per word/ target language).
- Our daily output depends on the texts and is approximately
1500/2000 words/day/translator.
The rates are based on a payment on delivery basis.
